  • Message content, including questions, feedback, outfit requests, and other information included in a contact form or email.
  • Comment information, if comments are enabled, such as your display name, email address, website address, comment, IP address, and browser information used for moderation and spam detection.

  • Any other information you choose to send. Please do not submit sensitive information that is not necessary for your request.

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and enabled technologies may automatically collect technical and usage information, including:

  • Internet Protocol address and approximate location derived from it;
  • browser type, operating system, language, device type, and screen characteristics;
  • pages viewed, links clicked, referring and exit pages, date and time of access, and general interaction data;
  • cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers, and similar online identifiers;
  • server-log, diagnostic, security, and fraud-prevention information.

Information received from third parties

We may receive limited information from third parties, such as analytics providers, advertising partners, email-service providers, social platforms, affiliate networks, security services, or a website from which you followed a link to Chic So Easy. The information received depends on the provider, your settings, and the services enabled on the Site.

04

How we use information

We may use personal information for the following purposes:

  • to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • to respond to questions, requests, feedback, or support messages;
  • to send newsletters or other emails you requested, and to maintain an unsubscribe or suppression record;
  • to understand how readers find and use the Site, measure content performance, and improve navigation and editorial decisions;
  • to display and measure advertisements, where advertising is enabled and permitted;
  • to track affiliate referrals and commissions when you follow an affiliate link;
  • to moderate comments, prevent spam, secure the Site, investigate abuse, and diagnose technical problems;

  • for another purpose disclosed to you at the time information is collected, or with your consent.

06

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your browser or device. We and our service providers may also use pixels, tags, local storage, scripts, and similar technologies. These technologies may be used for:

Strictly necessary functions

Security, fraud prevention, load balancing, consent preferences, accessibility, and basic website operation. These technologies may be used without consent where permitted because the Site cannot function properly without them.

Preferences and functionality

Remembering choices such as language, display preferences, or form information.

Analytics and performance

Understanding visits, traffic sources, popular pages, and general interactions so we can improve the Site.

Advertising and affiliate measurement

Delivering, limiting, personalizing, or measuring advertisements, and attributing purchases or actions to affiliate referrals.

Where consent is required, we will ask before placing non-essential cookies. You can review or change your choices through Cookie Settings. You may also block or delete cookies through your browser, although some Site features may not work as intended.

07

Analytics

We may use analytics services to understand how visitors reach and use the Site. Analytics providers may process identifiers, IP-derived location, device and browser information, referral information, page views, and interaction data. Where required, analytics cookies are used only after consent.

Before publishing: name the analytics provider actually used, describe whether IP anonymization or consent mode is enabled, and add a link to that provider’s privacy information.

08

Advertising and affiliate links

Advertising

The Site may display advertisements supplied by us or third-party advertising partners. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to select, deliver, limit, personalize, and measure ads, subject to your consent and applicable law. They may receive online identifiers, device and browser information, approximate location, Site activity, and information about interactions with advertisements.

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, certain disclosures for interest-based advertising may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws. Where applicable, you may opt out through Your Privacy Choices, our cookie settings, or a recognized browser-based opt-out preference signal.

Affiliate links

Some links may be affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link, the merchant or affiliate network may place a cookie or use another identifier to attribute a purchase or action to Chic So Easy. We may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. The merchant’s own privacy policy governs information it collects after you leave the Site.

Before publishing: name the advertising network and affiliate networks actually used. If no advertising is active, delete the advertising paragraphs and the “Your Privacy Choices” placeholder.

09

Email communications

If you subscribe to emails, we and our email-service provider may process your email address, subscription source, consent record, delivery and bounce information, and engagement information such as opens or clicks where permitted. We use this information to deliver requested messages, maintain the list, understand performance, and protect against abuse.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message. We may retain limited information on a suppression list so we can honor your request. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent service, legal, or administrative messages when those are necessary.

Before publishing: identify your newsletter or email provider and link to its privacy information.

10

Comments, forms, and user content

If comments are enabled, information submitted with a comment may be stored and displayed publicly, except for information such as your email address that the form identifies as private. Comment data, IP addresses, and browser information may be processed for moderation, security, and spam detection. Do not post information you do not want made public.

Information submitted through a contact form or email is used to review and respond to the message, maintain appropriate business records, prevent abuse, and protect legal rights. Forms may be processed by WordPress plugins, hosting providers, email providers, or spam-prevention services.

Before publishing: delete the comments paragraph if comments are disabled, and name any form or anti-spam provider used.

11

Embedded content and social platforms

Articles may include embedded images, videos, posts, widgets, or other content from services such as Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, or similar platforms. Embedded content may behave as though you visited the third-party service directly. That service may collect information, use cookies, associate activity with an account, and monitor interactions with the embedded content. Its own privacy policy and settings govern that processing.

When you reach the Site through Pinterest, a search engine, social network, or another website, we may receive referral information supplied by your browser or included in the link.

12

How we disclose information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers and processors. Providers that support hosting, content delivery, backups, security, analytics, email, forms, spam prevention, advertising, affiliate tracking, and other Site operations.
  • Advertising and analytics partners. When those services are enabled and permitted by your choices and applicable law.
  • Legal and safety reasons. When reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful requests, enforce policies, investigate abuse, protect rights or safety, or establish and defend legal claims.
  • Business transactions. In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the Site or its assets, subject to appropriate protections.
  • With your direction or consent. When you ask us to share information or clearly consent to a disclosure.
  • Aggregated or de-identified information. Information that does not reasonably identify you may be used and disclosed for lawful purposes.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own independent direct marketing unless you consent or the disclosure is otherwise permitted by law.

13

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide requested communications, maintain the Site, honor privacy choices, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Retention periods vary according to the type of information and context. For example:

  • contact messages may be retained while the inquiry is active and for a reasonable recordkeeping period afterward;
  • newsletter information is retained while you remain subscribed, while limited suppression information may be retained after unsubscribing;
  • comments may remain while the associated content is published, unless removal is appropriate or legally required;
  • security and server logs are retained according to operational, fraud-prevention, and hosting requirements;
  • analytics and advertising data is retained according to our configured settings and the provider’s applicable retention controls.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.

14

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Measures may include access controls, secure connections, software updates, backups, monitoring, and carefully selected providers.

No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You submit information at your own risk, and we encourage you not to send confidential or sensitive information through ordinary email or public comments.

15

International data transfers

Chic So Easy and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism or rely on another lawful basis for international transfers, and we require relevant providers to protect information in accordance with applicable law.

16

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and delete it as required.

If local law requires a higher minimum age for consent to online processing, visitors below that age should use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

17

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:

  • request access to personal information and information about how it is processed;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion of information, subject to legal exceptions;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing;
  • receive certain information in a portable, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal;
  • opt out of the sale, sharing, or use of information for targeted advertising where applicable;
  • appeal a decision on a privacy request where applicable;
  • lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection or privacy authority.

To submit a request, email ChicSoEasy@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Describe the request and the email address or other information associated with your interaction. We may need to verify your identity before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, subject to proof of authority and identity verification.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

18

California privacy notice

If Chic So Easy is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, California residents may have the right to know, access, delete, and correct personal information; opt out of its sale or sharing; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and receive equal service and pricing when exercising those rights, subject to legal exceptions.

Depending on the Site features enabled, categories of information processed may include identifiers, internet or electronic network activity, approximate geolocation, commercial or affiliate-interaction information, and inferences drawn from Site activity. These categories may be disclosed to service providers, analytics providers, advertising partners, affiliate networks, and other recipients described in this policy for the purposes described above.

We do not sell personal information for money. If advertising or analytics disclosures are considered a sale or sharing under California law, you may opt out through Your Privacy Choices, through our cookie settings, or by enabling a legally recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control. Where required, we treat the signal as a request to opt out for the browser or device sending it.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

To exercise another California right, contact Here. We may verify your request using information reasonably related to your prior interaction with the Site. You may use an authorized agent as permitted by law.

20

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Site, services, providers, or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or request consent where required.
